When a tree in my yard split at the trunk and started to lean over toward the garage, I realized it was going to have to come down. I had asked on the Neighborhood App for some recommendations, and All About Trees was suggested, but this was the first time I've had to contact anyone about tree removal, so I wasn't sure what to expect. Within a day or two later, the tree had lain over on the garage roof. I had made 3-4 appointments with different companies, and the first one scheduled never showed or called. The owner of All About Trees showed up at the agreed upon time, and was very polite and professional. He provided an estimate for tree removal, both with and without hauling away debris, which was a difference of several hundred dollars. I had contacted my insurance company and was awaiting the feedback, but felt comfortable with the decision to move forward, as it needed to be removed quickly before the remainder of the trunk separated and risked rolling the entire tree around and causing damage to people/property. Within a short time, the work crew was on site with equipment and I watched as they quickly and competently cut and dropped the tree for us. After they started work, my insurance agent called back, and I was surprised to hear that removal was not covered, however a quick call to the owner and he let me know he was willing to work with me on paying out the bill. His crew made short work of the tree and spent a little time to pile the debris in a location I requested, which helped me out until I could take care of it. Finally, the All About Tree office staff (especially Tobi) was phenomenal to work with as we spoke monthly and payments were made. Always upbeat and helpful, but also empathetic when I was having a rough month financially and couldn't pay quite as much that month. It was never a call I dreaded during the entire period it took me to pay the full balance, and I really appreciated that from Tobi and the company. I hope to not have any more trees removed, but if the need arises, there's no need for me to shop around for a company again. I've got one.
